Emercent Annual Automotive Remarketing Performance Study Delivers Key Insights
Chicago - March 3, 2006
Emercent Solutions, LLC, a premium provider of strategic consulting
services, data analytics and software products to automotive remarketers,
announced it will be releasing its 2005 Remarketing Performance Study results
in March at the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) in Las Vegas. The
study, which is in its third year, is designed to deliver timely, targeted
insights into performance, trends, challenges, and opportunities in vehicle
remarketing. This year, more than half of the market was represented with the
participation of 14 automotive manufacturers, 10 top banks, and seven leading
fleet management companies.
"We are delivering the key insights remarketers need to determine vehicle
pricing strategies, select channels, optimize performance, and leverage the
opportunities and challenges that the automotive industry is facing," said
Julie Andersen, Emercent Vice President of Strategy. The 2005 Remarketing
Performance Study examines topics in the areas of volume, pricing, channel
usage, opportunities and trends. The study builds upon a series of questions
identified over the past 3 years so that industry baselines could be captured
for further insight.
Andersen will present the 2005 Study results at the CAR Conference on March 9,
2006 at 3:20 p.m. Additionally, Emercent's Jack Klosterman will release further
study findings during the "Guidebooks' Relevance to Current Markets"
panel session on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 9 a.m.
The 2005 study results give organizations a way to compare their own efforts,
processes, and results to the rest of the marketplace. Lynn Wolver, FVP,
National Remarketing Manager with Chase Auto Finance agrees, "Emercent has
taken great care to know our industry and to provide us relevant and meaningful
information. I greatly appreciate the chance to participate and am looking
forward to the new results." As in years past, Emercent was supported by
the IARA (International Automotive Remarketers Alliance) to gather data that
benefits both remarketers and their value-chain partners.
"Emercent continues to make a considerable contribution to the
industry," said IARA Executive Director Matthew Marks. "Our
membership is grateful for the study's insightful results as well as the
opportunity to work with a firm that has extensive experience in automotive
remarketing." "This study supports Emercent's commitment to providing
tools that enable remarketers to improve their performance and make the right
decisions. Given the challenges the automotive industry currently faces,
Emercent's main objective is to positively impact the bottom line of its
clients," said Barclay Noble, President, Emercent Solutions.
