Our History
Emercent started as a custom development company - with a focus on captive automotive lenders and other financial institutions.
Our business experience in financial services, manufacturing, insurance, and automotive finance combined with our structured, enterprise-level technical experience building enterprise solutions provided us with a unique opportunity to serve automotive lenders.
Initially, Emercent built mission-critical solutions including Dealer Extranets, Consumer Internets, Payoff Quoting Engines, funding and pricing systems, centralized customer and dealer data stores, and other custom solutions. These applications required significant integration with core systems. Through this hands-on experience with auto finance systems and processes, we acquired deep and broad experience in the captive environment. We also developed strong relationships with technical vendors and other partners in the value chain and an in-depth business understanding, including knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues.
Due to the sophistication of the marketplace and our clients, we have shifted our focus to defining product and technical strategies, making product recommendations, and managing and performing the implementation and integration work from a business and technical perspective. Through our Solution Framework, we have created components, processes, and business knowledge that allow our clients to go to market faster. We are in the process of developing a suite of products that embodies our knowledge and experience in automotive financing.
